COMIDA is pleased to recognize the small businesses of Monroe County during National Small Business Week May 5th to 11th, 2019.
Small Business Week is an annual event created by the U.S. Small Business Administration held in recognition of the nation’s top small businesses and entrepreneurs as well as small business advocates and champions. Small businesses are an important part of economic growth in Monroe County.
There are many small business events happening across Monroe County including these events that are open to the public:
Tuesday, May 7, 2019:
Recruiting on the Road event at St. John Fisher College will be held on Tuesday, May 7th. Over 40 companies will be showcasing more than 500 available jobs. Veteran’s Hour will take place from Noon to 1 p.m. and the full job fair will be open from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at 3690 East Avenue, Rochester.
Wednesday, May 8, 2019:
We invite you to attend a joint event by COMIDA, Monroe County and The Entrepreneurs Network (TEN), ‘Thriving: Women Leaders Connect & Learn’, an upbeat, inspiring and wisdom-filled afternoon with women business owners and experts hosted by Live Tiles at 61 Commercial Street, Rochester.
